Carlo Acutis, a 15-year-old boy who lived life to the fullest, was an extraordinary young man who embodied the pursuit of holiness in his daily life. A computer whiz, soccer player, saxophonist, and animal lover, Carlo was also a devoted Catholic who spent his free time teaching catechism classes, serving in soup kitchens, and attending daily Mass and Eucharistic adoration. His passion for the Eucharist inspired him to create a website about Eucharistic miracles, which gained international attention and introduced countless people to the wonders of the Eucharist. Despite his untimely death from illness in 2006, Carlo's story spread globally, and he was declared venerable by Pope Francis in 2018. His beatification was celebrated in 2020, paving the way for his canonization as the first millennial saint.
